Detailed Program (6 )

1

Yangon Arrival / Sightseeing (L/D)

Arrival at Yangon International Airport, welcome by our guide and driver, then transfer to the city.

On the way, visit Kabar Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda) and Pasayana Cave, followed by a visit to Botahtaung Pagoda, which is very popular among travelers thanks to its open interior allowing visitors to explore inside the pagoda.

In the afternoon, begin with a visit to the Reclining Buddha of Chauk Htat Gyi, followed by Kandawgyi Lake (Royal Lake), where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Shwedagon Pagoda, considered one of the wonders of the world.

Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Yangon.

Yangon – Bagan (B/L/D)

In the morning, after breakfast, depart by road towards Bagan.

Begin with a visit to Nyaung Oo Market, where local people come every day to trade their goods.

Then visit Shwezigon Pagoda, an early prototype of the Myanmar stupa.

Continue with a visit to Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi Cave Temple, known for its remarkable mural paintings, followed by Htilominlo Temple, famous for its ancient murals, fine stucco carvings and sandstone decorations.

In the afternoon, visit New Bagan Village, well known for its many workshops. You will have the opportunity to watch local artisans use traditional techniques to create handicrafts.

At the end of the day, board a cruise along the Irrawaddy River and enjoy a cocktail, magnificent views of Bagan and the sunset.

Bagan – Mount Popa – Bagan (B/L/D)

In the morning, after breakfast, visit Mount Popa, an extinct volcano rising to an altitude of 1,518 meters and offering spectacular views.

It is believed to be the home of the 37 Nats (guardian spirits). Popa is also renowned as a refreshing oasis thanks to its lush green forest.

It has played an important role in Myanmar’s culture, religion and history since ancient times.

Return to Bagan in the afternoon.

Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Bagan.

Bagan – Heho – Inle Lake (B/L/D)

In the morning, after breakfast, depart for Heho.

From Heho, a scenic one-hour drive takes you to Nyaung Shwe, the gateway village to Inle Lake.

Along the way, stop at Shwe Yan Pyay Wooden Monastery, featuring beautiful carvings and a collection of Buddha statues.

Stop in Nyaung Shwe for a short walk around the town and a visit to the colorful market, if it is being held that day.

Then enjoy an excursion on Inle Lake by private motorboat.

Continue with a visit to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the lake’s main religious sanctuary, which houses five sacred Buddha images covered in gold leaf.

Discover the traditional crafts of Inle Lake, with a stop at the weaving village of Inpawkhone and a cigar workshop, where traditional Burmese cigars are handmade.

If time permits, enjoy a short walk through one of the lakeside villages.

Inle Lake – Indein – Inle Lake (B/L/D)

After breakfast, visit Inle Lake Market.

The market rotates among the villages around the lake on a five-day cycle. It is frequented by local residents and hill tribes from the surrounding areas, who come to sell and exchange their goods.

(Note: the market is held every day except on new moon and full moon days.)

From the middle of the lake, continue along a small canal leading to the Pa-O village of Indein.

Explore the area on foot, stroll through the village, visit a local school, and walk through the beautiful Alaung Sitthou area.

Here, you can climb a covered staircase to the top of a hill dotted with picturesque ancient stupas, offering magnificent views over the lake.

Then return to your boat and continue with a cruise across the lake before returning to the hotel in the afternoon.
