Circuit Highlights
- A journey of discoveries based on encounters, especially with several ethnic minorities in several villages on the Ho Chi Minh trail (with Moc Chau, Mai Chau) with an evening and dinner planned, an opportunity to share and discover new cultures.
- Sampan rides in the Phong Nha river to explore the Phong Nha – Ke Bang caves (which has been recognized twice as a UNESCO World Heritage site). Continue with a visit to the Thien Duong cave also called Paradise Cave.
- Discovery of the city of Hue, the ancient historical capital "à la Vauban" with its typical architecture and the characteristic tombs of each king, visits to the ancient city of Quang Tri dedicated to veterans during the liberation of the country. Also passing through the ancient port city of Hoi An. Discover the road from Hue to Hoi An passing through the Hai Van Pass.

1
Hanoi – Hoa Binh – Moc Chau (L,D)
Pick-up at your hotel in Hanoi at 8:00 AM.
Then depart for Moc Chau, with several beautiful stops for visits and walks along the way: Thay Pagoda and the Giang Mo ethnic village in Hoa Binh, known for its impressive stilt houses, followed by lunch with a local family.
Continue towards Moc Chau via Tung Khe Pass, at an altitude of 957 metres.
Arrival in Moc Chau, followed by a walk through a H’mong ethnic village to discover part of their daily life.
Dinner, evening and overnight with a H’mong family.

Moc Chau – Mai Chau – Pu Luong (B,L,D)
Breakfast with the local family, featuring typical dishes.
Meet at 8:00 AM, then depart for Mai Chau, where you will enjoy a pleasant walk through the ethnic villages of Ban Van, Ban Nhoc, Ban Lac and Poom Coong, followed by lunch with a White Thai family.
In the afternoon, transfer to Pu Luong, followed by an approximately 2-hour walk to reach Ban Hieu Village, where you will spend the night with a local family.
An authentic place and experience offering the opportunity to meet the ethnic communities living in the village.
Dinner, evening and overnight with a White Thai family.

Pu Luong - Ho Dynasty Citadel – Nghe An (B,L,D)
After breakfast,
Take a walk towards the exit of the village, then depart for Nghe An, with several beautiful places to visit and explore along the way, including the Ho Dynasty Citadel, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Visit ethnic villages along the Ho Chi Minh Trail.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Continue towards Con Cuong District in Nghe An Province, the home province of Ho Chi Minh.
Arrival at Ban Nua Village, where a walk through the village offers the opportunity to discover the local community and their daily life.
Dinner, evening and overnight with a Black Thai family.

Nghe An - Ha Tinh – Phong Nha – Chay Lap (Quang Binh) (B,L,D)
Breakfast with the local family.
Depart for Quang Binh, continuing along the Ho Chi Minh Trail.
Visit Pu Mat National Park and its beautiful Khe Kem Waterfall.
Lunch at a local restaurant with traditional dishes.
Continue towards Quang Binh, a province famous for its numerous caves recognized by UNESCO as World Natural Heritage sites.
Arrival in Phong Nha. Enjoy a sampan ride along the Phong Nha River to enter the Phong Nha–Ke Bang caves, visit this magnificent cave, then cruise back before transferring to Chay Lap Village.
Here, enjoy a bicycle ride to discover the village and observe local people at work.
Dinner and overnight at the homestay.

Chay Lap (B,L,D)
Breakfast.
Depart for a full day of discovery and visits in an area rich in caves and beautiful landscapes.
Visit Thien Duong Cave – Paradise Cave for approximately 3 hours, exploring the first section of this cave, which was discovered relatively recently and has only been open to visitors for a limited period of time.
Optional:
For adventurous travellers wishing to explore deeper inside the cave, registration is required at least 1 day in advance to allow the necessary preparations, including a specialist guide, headlamps, boots, life jackets, kayaks and safety equipment.
Return and transfer to Song Chay – Hang Toi for lunch at a local restaurant, featuring typical and original dishes from the region.
After lunch, discover the adventure activities and outdoor courses available on site, including zip-lining, swimming or kayaking on the Song Chay River.
Enjoy an unusual and refreshing experience inside the cave with a natural mud bath, perfect for relieving stress and fatigue.
After leaving the cave, continue with activities such as highwire, diving into the Song Chay River or zip-lining.
Then discover the beautiful Suoi Mooc Ecological Garden, where you can see many varieties of flowers and a rich natural reserve with small streams and peaceful places to relax.
Return to Chay Lap for rest and overnight.
Dinner and overnight at the homestay.

Chay Lap – Quang Tri – Hue (B,L,D)
After Breakfast, depart for Hue, travelling via the 17th Parallel, an important historical site associated with the Vietnam War between 1955 and 1975.
Before crossing the 17th Parallel, visit the underground Vinh Moc Tunnel Village.
Then cross the bridge connecting the two banks of the Ben Hai River, which served as the provisional dividing line between North and South Vietnam for 21 years.
Visit the museum and the flagpole.
Lunch at a restaurant in Quang Tri, with local specialties on the menu.
In the afternoon, visit the ancient Quang Tri Citadel, where a memorial stands in honour of those who lost their lives for the liberation of the country.
Continue towards the Thanh Tan area, on the outskirts of Hue. This region is known for its network of mineral and hot springs, believed to have therapeutic properties.
Upon arrival, free time to rest, explore the area or enjoy a bath in the hot springs.
Dinner and overnight at Alba Hot Spring Resort.

Thanh Tan – Hue (B,L)
Breakfast at hotel.
Then enjoy free time for your own discoveries or spend the morning taking part in adventure activities such as zip-lining or highwire.
Check out, then depart for Hue city centre for a cruise along the Perfume River, with lunch served on board.
Visit Thien Mu Pagoda at the end of the cruise, followed by a visit to the Imperial City, with its three main enclosures: the Citadel, Imperial City and Forbidden Purple City.
Dinner at your own expense and overnight in Hue.

Hue – Hai Van Pass – Hoi An (B,L)
Meet at 8:00 AM and visit a Luc Bo monument, related to the Six Ministries administrative system used during the feudal period, followed by the discovery of Hue’s traditional craft villages.
Depart for the outskirts of Hue for a bicycle ride through Thuy Bieu Village, followed by lunch with a local family.
In the afternoon, continue towards Hoi An via the Hai Van Pass, with photo stops along the road and at the top of the pass.
Arrival in Hoi An and direct transfer to the hotel for rest.
Dinner at your own expense and overnight in Hoi An.

Hoi An – Da Nang – Departure (B,L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Set off for a ride in a basket boat on the Hoai River, followed by a bicycle ride through the countryside on the outskirts of Hoi An.
Relax with a 15-minute foot massage, followed by a cooking class and lunch with a local family.
In the afternoon, return to the town centre to visit the must-see sites of Hoi An before transferring to Da Nang for your flight either to Hanoi or Saigon.
