1 Saigon - Mekong - Cai Be - Vinh Long - Can Tho (L,D)

07:00: Pick-up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Departure for Cai Be for the excursion aboard the Mekong Queen.

09:00: Arrival in Cai Be, boarding the Mekong Queen sampan, visit to Cai Be floating market.

09:25: Disembarkation and visit to an old local church & traditional craft workshops.

10:10: Return to the boat.

10:40: Visit to a brick kiln.

11:00: The sampan heads towards the entrance of the village.

11:15: A short walk around an old house before lunch.

12:00: Lunch on land.

13:30: Transfer by small boat to the main boat.

13:40: Continue cruising along the Mekong River towards the homestay in Vinh Long.

15:00: Arrival at the homestay to discover the daily life of the local people.

15:20: Cruise back to Vinh Long pier.

19:00: Dinner with the family members, a unique opportunity to share unforgettable moments with them.

Possibility to take part in farming activities at the homestay and enjoy traditional folk songs from the region.

Dinner at the homestay; it is also possible to take part in preparing lunch with the host.

After breakfast at the hotel,
Enjoy a pleasant boat trip to visit Cai Rang floating market, where local people trade their products. Here, you can appreciate the richness and great variety of goods sold at the market: from familiar fruits such as mangoes and bananas to more exotic ones, including mangosteens, star apples, sweet longans, and fragrant durians.

Visit Binh Thuy Ancient House, dating from the 19th century.

Continue by car for the return journey to Saigon via Sa Dec, a town associated with the life of Mrs. Marguerite Duras, where you visit the Lover’s House, the local market, and the school.

Back to Saigon and transfer to your hotel.
